Some Life Agents Have A Lot Of Nerve !

Re: Banker's Life Agents Have A Lot Of Nerve !

I understand bitching about Bankers' agents, but there ain't nothing wrong with knocking on doors, gated communities or not.

Re: Banker's Life Agents Have A Lot Of Nerve !

Bankers agents have company GPS systems that notify them when they are in the vicinity of a T-65 person. If they happen to be driving near by it will start beeping and they can just pull up and knock on the door. Pretty neat if you ask me, but borderline illegal in Ohio where I am because CMS forbids approaching anyone about medicare and the State of Ohio forbids approaching any medicare eligible person about any product.

Does not matter, bankers will just ignore and break the law, they are scum.

My 3 cents (inflation adjusted):

I disagree with those that do not find fault with the methods that the Bankers "agents" use. Do you ever stop to think why we, as agents, have an image only one notch above used car salesmen and two notches above lawyers? This is one of the reasons. The fact that around 95 percent of you reading this will not be in this business 2 or 3 years from now is another reason. Sooner or later most of you will reach a point that you'll start doing anything for a sale, not caring if it's legal, ethical, immoral, or fattening*. We are supposed to be trusted professionals. One of the reasons people buy homes in gated communities is to not be bothered by door knockers. To do so anyway only makes all of our images to be that much lower.

Are those who live in gated communities good prospects for D2D life sales? (assuming one got access and that was not the reason they chose gated)

a noob question, but what is a T65? Is it a Term to 65?

T-65. It's used to describe a person that is turning 65 soon and is either in or is approaching their initial enrollment period for Medicare. It's usually easy pickins for the agent to sign them up on a Medicare plan and the cross sell a bunch of stuff.
