Someone hit back bumper minor damage im not in the policy. Driver agreed was his fault

Car reg n insurance policy is under girlfriend's name. Im not on the policy. We dont live together so we have addresses on our license. I was driving pass a slower vehicle on the the right lane. He did not have turn signal on. He made a sudden lane change scraped my back bumper. Other driver agreed he was at fault. We exchanged insurance info. No police report. Question is if i make a claim to his insurance company. Will her insurance rate go up or get dropped from policy for me not being included? Will her insurance find out someone else was driving? Advise please

Have her contact the other party's insurance company and file the claim with them. she can explain that you were driving with her permission and they should get a statement from you.
