Something Unexpected on a Recent DM Drop

So I custom-designed a combo Med Supp/FE piece with a business reply card option AND a free 24-hour recorded hotline to listen to the pitch (they can press 2 for FE, and 3 for MedSupps) and leave their info if interested.

To date I have received 8 card back and ONLY 1 call (didn't leave a message). Granted there's probably a good week or two left to finish up the campaign to get better numbers.

Something interesting to think about?

They didn't call you because they did NOT wish to talk with anyone. They mailed the card back because they are subconciously thinking something will be mailed back to them.

Hence, the "I thought ya'll were going to mail me something" line.

Chalk this one up as money spent to satisfy a curiosity. I have done it plenty of times.

Well, I'm still getting good, quality response from the BRMs -- had success with the same concept without the BRM in the past -- just interesting to see people filling out cards instead of calling.

I have used a toll free information line before for other products and in the past it worked well. Considered doing that again, but just never got around to it.

While many have access to the internet, there are still folks who are print ad only people. The toll free information hotline seems to be innocuous enough and non-threatening, so I find it curious only 1 call.

I would be curious who you used for the recorded line. If you don't want to share here, give me a call or email.

I don't sell FE and I don't sell in TN.
