Anyone placing with this company? Been using FexQuotes the last month and they been consistently at the top of 99% of the quotes I run- Sometimes borderline stupid prices as much as 15-20 cheaper on average $100 AP's - $8-10 cheaper on $40-60 AP-

Whats the underwriting like, how fast do they issue, hows the comm setup?

Anyone got the skinny on them?

Thinking of signing on but if they are more bark than bite...

If you are speaking of Standard Life and Casualty, no problems with therm.. Basically go back four years on health histories.. have a height and weight chart.. You contract through a marketing organization in Texas.

Hey man, I know you mentioned Standard Life and Casualty on another thread... Now that you have been using them, can you tell me about the underwriting? POS interview? Is the client approved at the POS? Is there more underwriting? Any issues holding up the Policy after the POS sale? How long before the policy is issued after pos???

thanks

Standard Life and Casualty (SLAICO) has 2 immediate rates. Underwriting for their best rate is equiv to a Table 2 (Standard) Most FE is on a Table 4 underwriting basis for their best Rates.

The next rate is underwritten based on a Table 6 scale vs Table 8, comparable to Monumental's Standard Rating.

Their best Niche' is in their Graded Plan. Rate is pretty good and can get placed pretty easy compared to the Price.

All apps can be taken by phone and uses the same POS company as Baltimore Life and is pretty quick, usually issued and paid in 48 hours from interview.

They have a big Supplemental Health Portfolio with great commissions and rates and these can also be written by phone. The MedSupp is competitive in the Boonies for most States and not so near the Bigger Cities.

Let me know if you want more specifics.

SLAICO is Standard Life and Accident not Standard Life and Casualty. SL&C only writes health coverages in the state of TX. However, they are in several states with their FE and are considerably cheaper than SLAICO not matter what table SLAICO is using.. For example for a male, age 65, NS SLAICO is $55.06 but SLC is only $48.50. Unfortunately they are not in PA.

Long Day.......LOL :goofy::goofy::D:D

I am glad you are paying attention.

are they in FL? does anyone know the name of the imo in TX to contract with?:twitchy:

I just got a letter from SLC and they will not be renewing their license in FL due to risk factors. I will be shopping for a new low rate carrier here in FL for the FE healthy clients. I love RNA's Essential life product, but it doesn't go below 25k. Most FE carriers base there rates at table 4 and work from there.

I have been using Oxford and just applied with Lafayette in order to better deal with replacement or price bidding scenarios....

I have Oxford, they are usually the lowest, but SLC blew away everybody in FL. Problem with them is they UW a FE like a fully UW 100k + term policy. I had a lady that was perfectly healthy have medical records ordered on 10k for a 69yr....lol:no: took nearly 2 months to get a answer, then came back at a standard rate...lol what a joke.

I emailed my contact at SLAICO and she replied back with:

Hi Steve,
I am not sure where that rumor came from but I have not received any info on this at all. We are still offering final expense & even released the new & improved version, now the issue ages & face amounts have been expanded. Let me know if you have any questions!

(I think (many times) people get companies confused that have the name Standard in them).
