Start in Final Expense without Buying Leads?

I am considering going into Final Expense Sales as a new agent. I don't have the funds nor do I want to rely on leads, I am a senior and I have enough funds to support myself during start up. I have an extensive sales background and like working with seniors.

My question is it truly possible to be successful in Senior sales without buying leads? Also I am in South Florida which is scam central and people knocking on doors are viewed as suspicious from the get go.

Any advice would be welcome....No bashing please..lol .. Thank you

Broke and wanting free leads probably attracts people more likely to leave a bad review?

I would never work that model, but OLA are good peeps.

You misunderstand how this business works it's Lead driven and requires a lot of investment

He has 2 things working against him. No leads and location. If he thinks people will call him to buy life insurance he is dreaming. I have been selling locally my entire career and still have very few phone calls from people wanting to buy life imsurance especially FE. Have more calls for term.

Doug's video suggest he do just what he said looked suspicious in his area. I have been having an increasing number of leads get mad because I knocked on their door. Won't be long before they threaten to call the cops and when that happens I will rethink door knocking.

Bingo i second that. I'm noticing a big increase of people getting angry i came by.Especially on the net leads. Had a lead this week he wasn't home . Somebody else was there . I made appt on phone that night . Went next day and mentioned i stopped by yesterday. He got pissed off i came by without an appt. Last week a lady with doorbell video ring didn't answer . The neighbor said you came by 2 days ago and there not interested. I said i never did. He called them . Old lady met me in garage . 5 mins later phone rings i hear shouting. I said who's that. She put hand over phone and said her daughter was calling police. Saturation spilling over into door knocking . I truly believe in 10 yrs it will be mostly in bound calls.
