Starting Out with FE

And the Medi/Meds certainly don't have any money to buy FE. My plan is to hone my skills so that I can transition to FE during the Medicare lock in and then just sell MA plans during the AEP. I will likely be able to cross sell those folks FE and other products.

So MA is free in certain parts of the country? How do I find out if that's true in my area?

No, they are not "free". They are $0 premium. Only under CMS rules are those not the same thing and it is a serious violation to call a $0 premium plan "free".

So to answer your question, yes there are $0 premium plans.

On the Medicare.gov website just click on the tab that says find Mdedicare and Prescription Drug Plans and enter the zip code you want to review. Anthem has some pretty decent PPO MA plans in many of Indiana's rural counties at least they do where my Aunt lives, with low or zero premiums, low out of pocket costs.

You can't door knock or cold call for MAPs.

What about ringing the door bell?

So can I go door knock those zip codes with $0 premium plans or what?:twitchy:

Send out a mailer or hook up with a FMO that will help you out. Gordon marketing is close to you and Oberlin is in Ft Wayne. Gordon took 3 weeks to get me a contract so I went with Oberlin Marketing and they did a free mail drop for me. Neither place makes you assign commissions and both give street level comp.
