What is the going pay for a specialist in a State Farm Agents office?
Do you get any renewals?
Also do you guys make any commission from P&C products or just L&H?

It really depends on several factors. I was a State Farm Agency Specialist for Life and Health for the past 9 years. Each individual agent makes their own rules regarding the commissions they pay. Going with an agent that has been in business for at least 10 years will be the best bet in terms of best salary and best commission schedule. In Florida a base pay of $25000 per year was very good. with commissions I consistently made $50k per year which is pretty good for the commission schedule. most commisison schedules give you a max of 3% of P&C commissions and a definite max of 30% of life commission. Most agents don't make much more than 30% on life/health anyway. and remember, you will not get renewal commissions at all. pm me if you have any other questions.
