Stent 13 Months Ago

Booooo! He wouldn't fork over $8 more a month for immediate coverage. He said he consider again in a yr when he is past the 2 yr period for the stint. I did write his wife a policy though. Boy was that a headache. We called to do a POS interview and suddenly the lady gained 25 pounds and had cancer within 24 months. I was pulling my hair out while she was on the phone.

So after the phone call I ask her when she had cancer and why she changed her weight. She was a little out there I think. So her husband pipes in and says that she hasn't had cancer in 8 yrs. DOH! What a headache she was. It seriously gave me a headache. So I told her on the next call to answer the questions the exact same way as she did to me, nothing more nothing less. Her e comes the cancer question again, and there she goes again telling this UW about it.Then she went on and on about her thyroid and here thyroid meds. I was ready to just grab my phone and leave. Thankfully she passed UW and I made $450. I love the FE market, not.

That's what Americo and Monumental are for. The morons you don't trust to do a phone interview right.

Had a guy a month ago that I could get him equivalent coverage relative to his Colonial Penn policy -- in rate and coverage amount -- and it was immediate compared to the 22 months he had to wait. Still didn't want it -- some underlying objection, I assume.

Yes a non POS company would have been great. I was replacing and needed a better price though. I'm sure I'd nothing happens this guy will buy in a year. They both bought MA plans too so I'm not complaining...

I think those choices would've been WORST!! Had they did a random PHI, he wouldn't have been there to clean it up, and there goes his $450....so I say kudos for hanging in there while u were there!! JMO
