Strong winds in California heighten fire risk in drought-stricken Los Angeles.

When CalFire talk about putting out fires they use the word containment, this is achieved usually by inmates in the california dept of corrections on the front lines digging trenches, removing flammable items like brush, tress etc, AND by the use of aerial fire suppressants that contain a mixture of ammonium phosphate, water and iron oxide.. they do this to contain the fire and allow it to burn out.

You do understand that 55 square miles have burned in LA as of Sunday? How much water do you think would take to put all that out?

And my bad for thinking you were smart, I promise it wont happen again.
