Suits on Sales

I thought "Suits on Sales" was about someone getting sued for selling something!

I thought someone was having a sale in return for suing someone, like a group of attorneys.

Can't really see wearing a suit and tie here in Florida. Now a friend of mine here in Florida that writes about 40 annuities a year swears by a light blue shirt. No bright or flashy colors and no tie and jacket, just dress pants and a soft blue shirt.

Check out New York Suit Exchange in Memphis. They have online ordering, as well. 3 suits, 3 shirts, 3 ties, 3 belts and 3 pair of sox for $333. Tough to beat them. Just Google and you'll find them.

I checked it out because I was curious. The material is some mystery cloth and the suits do not hang very well. If you look for deals at places like Jos A Bank or maybe Stein Mart you are better off with 2 decent suits for $300 to 400. Maybe even eBay or Men's Whse though I am no fan of MW. Their stuff is okay.

NYSE of Memphis has some wool suits for $150 but I would want to see them in person. Unless it is wool or 70% wool then a suit is usually crap. There are all types of lighter weight wool.

It can be a catch 22, if you don't wear the suit then some people won't respect you. But others will be to intemidated by you. I guess it all depends on what is comfortable for you. If wearing a suit makes you uncomfortable then your presentation will produce the same results. Do what ever makes you happy!
