Term to 100

I just had an in depth discussion with a gentleman this week... he is 66 and on dialysis daily. He is concerned about a policy with premium payments to 100 vs another with 121. Duh... what an optimist. I told him that I doubt that I will be around to 100 and I do not have any of the health problems that he has so he is much more of an optimist than I.

LOL. I like an optimist but that dude is just in plain denial. ha

Hoosier -- Globe used to pitch this type of product, simplified issue and all, but they don't anymore.

Every simplified term product pitches 5-year level premiums with non-guaranteed price-increases, cancelling out at 80 or 85.

That should tell you something about the long-term viability of the Term-to-100 product.

Oh yeah forgot about the increases...

Doesn't primerica have a term to 95? It's been a while since I looked at one of their policies but thought it was something like that.

I have never heard of them having anything guaranteed level longer than 20 years. They used to have a non guaranteed 10 year they would roll out for defence of replacement.

There are a lot of term to 95/100 out there. The problem is they are only level premium 10/15/20/30 years.
