He is one of my all-time favorite Phillies. I know he came up with the Mets, but he'll always be a Phillie to me.

And Pete Rose will always be the most deserving Hall of Famer to be denied a place in Cooperstown.

I believe someday we will have a baseball commissioner who isn't a douchebag, and Rose will be inducted. My fear is that "someday" will be after Pete has passed. He deserves to be here and be a part of it.
