We've been in debt up to our eyeballs for decades. I wonder where everyone has been in the past when this stuff first started piling up.

On a different note, does anyone really think that thinking about paying off government debt is a good idea right now?

We've been in debt up to our eyeballs for decades.

That's not exactly true. Nobody expanded the goverment more than George W. He put us in debt more than any other president.

Obama saw a challenge and went for it. He's broken all debt records.

While there might have been a time that we could get out of debt, I don't know if we ever have a chance.

Maybe if we devalue the dollar by 90%...
