To put the numbers in perspective:
One million seconds ago was less than two weeks ago.
One billion seconds ago was back in the 1970s.
One trillion seconds ago was about 36,000 years ago.
I am a very positive person, but we are in trouble as a planet (too many people & not enough fresh water) and the USA is in trouble as a country. If you are number one, where are you going to go. In my opinion, things don't stay the same - they get better or worse. The real wars will be fought over water and Michigan will be the new Persian Gulf. In time, we will invade Canada for their fresh water.
Prior to the year 2000, the CIA did a study as to what the biggest threats the USA was going to face during the next 100 years. What was different about this CIA study was the fact that for the first time ever they released the results to the public. The results stated that the top threats to the United States were: 1) world population & 2) the lack of fresh water. I don't think they even mentioned China buying all of our T-Bills or people buying P&C Insurance from Geico... (not to mention bars in strip malls, which I can't stand. Seriously, name me a good bar in the USA that is in a strip mall? See what I mean?

Thats shows tax receipts DOWN 16% Yr on YR while spending is UP 18%. A two year old can tell you thats BADDD.

They raised the debt ceiling today in the senate with 60 democrat votes and no republican votes. I want to know why Scott brown hasnt been seated yet?
