Then....Than

I am not trying to be the "Grammar Police," but why do I often see the word "then" used when it should read "than?" This has appeared on posts by several of youse (Philadelphiaspeak for the plural of you) guys. The "e" and the "a" aren't that close to each other. BTW typos are OK---I make quite a few myself, but I can type a 120 words per ---hour!
