Theoretical Question

Depends. Did you honk your horn?

Repeatedly! It just wouldn't stop officer, the telephone pole just came charging at me from the side of the road. I was scared for my life. The empty beer cans? That was afterwards, I was so shook up I needed a drink to settle my nerves.

the house was probably built when they had horse and buggies driving down the roads. the roof, should had what is called, snow birds. it breaks up the snow and ice when it slides off the roof

The house might have, but the metal roof was put up long after the automobile was ruling the road...and what difference would it be horse and buggy didn't even have a roof to protect the occupant from the snow hitting people.

If I was a roofer and could retrofit these things to metal roofs I would be knocking on doors with a simple flyer asking if they are liable for damage caused by their roof.

they still put them on metal and slate roofs. look at the roofs next time you see an older home... they are small metal birds, when the snow falls it breaks the snow up.... they could be liable. for not having them.
