Thought She Would Have Been Hired by 1-31-16

I have read SEP's are pretty loose, a woman was gonna be hired by a job by the end of the month, didn't happen, she said she could produce documentation of that fact, so she never got health insurance, any chance she can ram this through as a SEP?
Appreciate any replies..

Nope....no SEP loose or otherwise would this be covered.

Send her to hc.gov. They seem to approve anything for any reason or even no reason. Can't hurt

They have a special circumstances exception option, but it's pretty well defined, like "I was in a coma" or house burned down type things.

Now they are going to ask for paperwork to prove loss of coverage SEP eligibility in the same way they may ask for income or immigrant status documentation, with 90 day deadline. Just spoke to them today.
