Thoughts on My First Year As an Agent

Look out for the Sophomore slump in your second year.

Anyone who has a sophomore slump is failing to do the most important task in this business......creating activity and being consistent (and doggedly so) with setting weekly activity.

The hardest part of this business is doing the repeated tasks necessary to be successful. If you need $1500/week and you need 3 sales to get there and you need to see 12 people to write 3-4 apps and you need 25 (bought leads) or 200 (door knocks, etc.) TO SEE 12 PEOPLE.......

You get the point. You must be able to consistently do the activity week in and week out and you will see your income go up by 25-50% this year. Hopefully more if the OP will personally try and improve his/her sales skills and product knowledge for cross selling.

Good luck in your endeavors OP.

If it were easy, everyone would do it. That is why successful agents are paid well.
