Thoughts on the FE telesales biz

Telesales is a tough gig unless you have everything in order. I sold f2f for over 15 yrs and went to selling over the phone out of necessity. I had an accident and couldn't walk for over 4 months, so the phone was my only option.

With the right lead source, and a commitment to do the phone time, telesales can be very lucrative. I have a friend who sells over 1 mil a year on his own pen selling term over the phone. It's just that most agents aren't willing to work 6-8 hrs a day to make things come together.

Yes, I'm new to this forum as far as posting goes....even though I've been here for a long time, and yes I make my living selling FE over the phone. In the last 3 weeks I've sold over 24K in good paper for 3 companies working 30-40 hrs a week on the phone.
