Who finds it impossible to let go?
Especially when your great clients call for coverage or to ask you to write a referral.
It has never be easier to do this business.
I think I may be doing this till I am a claim.
I don't chase business like I once did. Now I have enough people call me to stay as busy as I want to be. Just trying to keep my renewals constant or maybe grow them some. You can live on a lot less when not running a business.
I'm commercial p&c, and about 7 years ago my business was built up to the point that with renewals, I didn't really need to work. I cut down to about a few hours a week.
It was awesome. For the first few months, that is. Then it got a bit boring. Then, after a few months, kinda weird. After about a year of it, I was going bonkers, and I started working again. I'm doing about 20hr a week now and am pretty happy.
