I own an agency in Texas and would like to open another office in Chicago. I would like to hear advise and experiences from agents in Illinois about how it's like to be an agent up there. Also, if you would provide with markets worth the appointment that would be great.

lol...im curious about that to.

Im in Chicago...but im pretty new, and only deal w/ commercial coverage.

as you already know...its a huge market.
So there is an endless amount of prospects.

cool! I'm on the commercial side as well. Specially Transportation. But also do a bit of personal.

curious...why do you want to bring an agency up here?

Im seeing a lot of places sell nationwide from one agency.

Im reviewing a policy right now actually, and the Agency is based in Texas...but the client is in Chicago.
