Obama is a communist who does not share the values of the Founders.
I support health care reform but Americans need to work on it together based on American principles- and not have the socialist and Chicago trash put their bribes and boots in our faces.
Obama needs to resign for the good of the Republic. Any Senators who participated in bribes should be shunned and treated as non-entities until they can be replaced. Should there be further discussion about reforms they should be banned from participating. The democrats are asking for another huge stimulus bill but people who condone bribes cannot be trusted with money. I would hold off on anything that is subject to the discretion of the current administration until the people can process the humiliation and corruption they were subjected to as part of the health bill and there are billions/trillions missing from the last stimulus bill.

But they skipped the clips from the days after Brown was elected, with Obama saying that it's not quite dead and that we must keep moving forward.

I believe in charity and helping those in need. But the heart of the problem with Michelle Obama's statement is that she assumes the pie is limited and cannot grow.
The solution to eliminating poverty is to create more wealth. Using her terminology, the solution is to "bake more pies". Taxing the "bakers" doesn't help. Helping the "bakers" to make more pies is the solution.
The best way the gov't can help "bakers" make more pies is by taking away disincentives.

The dems are divided now. Whew. Check this out where Obama's new/recyled political adviser is telling them they have to try to run with it and others telling them to stand down. Then you have loons saying they need to run with it "and call the Republicans bluff" and then you have loons such as myself who are say we need to call the dems bluff and let em run with reconciliation.
Now you have Obama trying to get people over on to the economy not because he got the message but because he doesnt want the health refrom problems getting all the attention.
I say they should be forced to pull the trigger or they take the gun down- period. No way would I offer them some face saving negotiations while they are still shooting at you. It remains to be seen whether his political adviser helps or hurts. My guess is that he will hurt. He is stuck on stupid where if "yes we can" worked last year, it will work this year. Don't be so sure about that. Obama needs someone to help get him out of campaign mode, not back into it more.
By the way, that little quip at the end about "can I interest you in a co-op" was ultra-rich. Obamacare has died. Plans D,E, F, and G will be on the table for years to come but Original Obamacare is on a heart-lung machine which has been unplugged and you are just waiting it out. Not saying that twleve people here wont still say "it: is still going to pass but lord only knows what "it" means. Can I interest you in a co-op?

I was dead wrong. I was absoultely positive health care would pass and be on Obama's desk by end of '09 - Jan. '10 latest.
Man, you talk about a wild card being drawn with the Brown situation.
We still have to watch labeling this as dead. The next step will be to draw up a bill with features the items supported by both the House and Senate.
