That's just a lead generating site isn't it? They just sell leads to Agents most likely.

that article is misleading as there is no such thing as burial insurance. That's just a marketing term.
I really wonder about these websites that focus on FE business. Do they really write deals off internet searches? If so, how much do they write and is it a lot of GI business as those comments would suggest.
I'm sure there are some FE folks searching online, but it has to be a very small amount.
I can only hope my prospects are shopping there before I meet them. Even better, that they bought there.
We work with them. I'll let them know to update their content.
They're smart enough to know what consumers are searching - burial insurance. Even if it's not the industry term we all use.
There's a lot of FE searches happening. More than you think. We write a ton of business off of FE content monthly. There's a few lurkers on this FE forum that write business from their websites as well. It's a growing segment of the FE market.
I believe we're fishing in 2 different ponds and you either fill out a form online or send back a DM card. I'm sure everyone replaces some telesales biz here and there, but we don't see many replacements.
Wait....... For....... Iiitt......
Approximately how much FE business do you guys write from your websites?
Haha...Waiting for iiiittt...
We're a BGA. I'd prefer not to say what we do annually in FE premium. We do 7 figures just in GI business - all over the phone.
A single agent? There's lots of agents that write $10k+/mo (no lead costs) of FE premium from search engine generated website leads. That article Wino posts is 1 agent who tells his story.

Let's face it. We, the American consumer, are getting tricked everywhere we go. How about the supermarket. Those bastards are slick (need to be as they run on thin margins). They seem to get me every time! Drives my wife nuts.Tothetop: They're following this thread now and appreciate the criticism.
Also, if you consider that suckering someone for a dollar, then the same can be said about DM leads and how they're worded. Especially the one's that don't mention life insurance at all.
As you know, the purpose of all our marketing is to have a conversation - what they read on your card or our websites is trying to get them to respond so we can get the opportunity to have a conversation.
