Travelers Appt

Be forewarned, Travelers is not allowing you to write monoline Homeowners anymore, you can write monoline auto or package, so take that into consideration in your appt.

And since this is happening, its probaly going to be more difficult to get an appt.

In California you can get into 17-18%. If you are just starting out though, they wont look at you. You wouldn't be able to hit their goals anyway. Go through a GA or something.

hey rba, i was told the opposite about travelers. i just wanted to confirm. i was told that travelers didn't want to do monoline auto, but would do homeowners. can you confirm please?
what you are saying makes more sense, just curious.

preferred carriers are going the route of packaging the policies such as Kemper, Encompass. carriers such as Travelers are starting to put similar restrictions in that they want the package and not just the stand alone business (look for other carriers to due the same with a hardening market).

It could be a state related thing, in AZ, no monoline homes, just package or monoline auto.

They are severely upside in home to auto ratio and want to change it around, which makes sense.

again, probally a state thing.

i was playing with the rater and all i could get with travelers was an auto quote in alabama (non coastal)
