He followed the science and listened to ignorant Fauci, exactly what any other President would do and when he closed down entrance to the U.S. you morons called him a racist! 
Of course you have the Boeing strike and a number of areas that got decimated with two back to back hurricanes. No job growth in those areas or with that company right now (and all the related companies in the supply chain when things grind to a halt - no new hiring then). In some decent business journals more than one article explains how these things affect job creation, unemployment, etc, rates that have more to do with regional catastrophes than the overall financial health of the nation/industry.
