United DRS Calls

About every other week or so I will get a call from an angry person wanting to know why I am deducting money from their banking account.

This started over a year ago and was very infrequent but now is escalating.

As best I can figure out, United DRS is the billing arm for Mutual of Omaha companies. Some of these people have a Medigap plan from MOO (or related carriers), some say they don't.

Some have figured out it might be a life insurance policy. Usually small face and small premium.

Sounds like burial plans (final expense) but that is just a wag.

I don't know why they are calling me but a Google search finds a lot of references to scam.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Tell them to call thier bank and ask for trace info on the ACH. The bank will give them the company id# trace # the originating bank and a phone #, with the above info the originating bank will provide the company name and phone # to the dept originating the ACH and you have the trace # for the exact debit.

Some have called their bank and someone at the bank is giving them my number. I have no idea why, or how they are connecting me with United DRS.

You should offer to help them find out who is behind it, for just a small nominal fee. Check only please.
