I contacted a prospect today and they told me they just purchased a United Heritage policy. These people are in their 70's so for the sake of things I am going to assume they purchased a final expense policy.

Can someone tell me if United Heritage sells these types of policies and if they are competitive or priced out of the ballpark?

No not real competitive in FE they write to $35,000 However, their app is pretty easy. Level, Graded and Modified. They also write Pre Need in your state.

This would be in Louisiana. I ordered some telemarketed leads and the recording showed this lady semi interested. I finally was able to reach her back and now she says her husband just bought a policy from United Heritage last week and they are not interested in having me come out. I was just curious as to UH product because at 75 I have to assume it is a SIWL final expense product they have.

At those rates, Im going to assume either A) UH is priced very high or B) They have some medical challenges/issues.

They are far from a price leader. You can get some things level that may be graded else were. short app simple PHI. If a funeral home calls in the claim a check goes out with in a day or they will wire it.
