Using a Marketing List Twice

Do you think most of the every day list, not the super specialized lists one gets from a broker, are seeded? Like if you buy a list of homeowners over $75,000 in income in a certain county off Leads Please, is that seeded? They would have to have a trap in every county.

It's a scare tactic.
 
Seeding is for lists that are rented - almost always for one time use. Lists that are purchased outright that can be used over and over are not seeded.

The only thing that makes sense to seed is a phone number. That makes the entire list impractical because who answers the phone on the first ring?

Either way, call from different numbers or mail to different return addresses. They can never know
