Warning About State Farm Insurance

No fault claims hurt here sometimes with carriers as well. I guess they see it as it doesn't matter why they pay a dollar, a dollar is paid.

Some of my carriers don't charge for it, I believe Kemper is one of them. I just dealt with this with an underwriter today. However, they DO review the number of claims. Client has 1 at-fault and then a not-at-fault claim this year. If they have one of either one in the next year the policy is ceded (NC Jargon, you don't want that to happen). So yeah, they do count.
 
Interesting. I usually recommend my clients go through the other carrier, but, simply because they don't have to deal with the deductible and they will get a rental car, even if they don't have rental car coverage.

I guess different states are different. Imagine that :)
