Peter,

I work for a broker dealer, when you are with one every sale goes through supervision. Even though I am independent I deal with my back office with my bd and they deal directly with the carriers. Sometime its a pain in the a$$ and sometimes its great. So if I was to get audited , my bd would be on the hook as well.
