Just wanted to share this story with the FE group. I met a friend for coffee yesterday and when I told her how I had just received my producers license and I want to sell FE she immediately related this story to me; last week her ex mother in law (whom she was still close to) passed away unexpectedly. The couple had just started caring for a special needs child this year. The husband had been saying that they really ought to get some life insurance considering she had diabetes but she had resisted the idea. Well her passing was sudden and unexpected, the funeral was expensive, and the husband doesn't have her income or support raising the child anymore. The tragedy of her death has really been compounded because of the added financial stress it brought about and while death can't be avoided and nobody wants to think about it having life insurance protection in place can save families from added financial stress. Yes we are salesmen but yes what we sell helps people and protects families.

Thanks for the post... THIS is the reason that what we do is soo important.. We change peoples lives... If we do our job correctly... I have always told agents that if the client has the need and we can't make the sale, we are doing them an injustice... We have to sell them the coverage even if it's against their will..

Interesting how people RARELY Seek Out Life Insurance...
