What Are My Options for P&C in CA?

I am in the same position. I've been selling Aflac for the past 7 years, and have *tons* of clients that I can help with auto/home/commercial liability/workers comp/etc. I've got my P&C license, I've got clients, but nothing to sell.

I'm in West Hollywood, CA.

I am currently researching Smart Choice and TWFG but I don't know if those two will give contracts to new people with no book of business. This P&C business is such a catch-22.

I hear ya. SmartChoice called me back today, but I was open enrolling at one of my clients. I told most of my Aflac clients that I'm branching out and starting to do P&C and most were excited about it. Most of them don't really even know who the agents are for their insurance policies. They already trust me (I've been seeing them for a few years and know most of their names and faces).

Let me know how things go with Smart Choice once you get a chance to talk to them. I'm really interested in doing business with them.

I'd be interested on speaking with independent agents in the Orange County area. We have a decent amount of appointments.

I finally talked with the guy from SmartChoice, who actually discouraged me from signing up with them. What I ended up doing is signing up with SuperiorAccess.com. Their user interface is a bit clunky, but once they've walked you through it, it's OK. The people I have worked with there have been proactive and helpful.

WTF?:D. Why? They aren't P&C newbie friendly?
