The Lu's are a bit pricey for me, but I sometimes wear my Tony Lama's or Justin's in the field.

Fighting the DUI, but for now I have a 80cc Huffy with side baskets for all my business papers. A bit breezy on day like today, but the grandmas think I'm a peach.

We had an agent about 10-12 years ago that ran leads off his motorcycle whenever the weather would allow it. He had a crotch rocket/street bike with saddle bags on it for his supplies.
He would ride up to Iowa to work and just packed a pup-tent and found a public campground for a few nights while on the road. And to top it all off he had hair down to the middle of his back that would flow in the wind behind him while on his bike.

He wrote about 100-120k/yr for a couple years and then decided it wasn't his true purpose in life so he went back to his job as a mechanical engineer.
After seeing him be successful, I threw out any notion that I had about appearance affecting the sales process.

Man, I am not sure about that. I have always shaved before going out to sell. A couple weeks ago, I went to shave and realized I tossed out my last razor. Used an old hotel razor to shave my neck so I wouldn't look totally haggard! Made 8 sales that day!

Since then I haven't made more than 5 sales in a day, which is my average per day!

Now I'm wondering if that short beard look didn't help me look more "mature" to the prospects and more attractive. Maybe they felt more comfortable with me, because of my look!

I don't know.

Bought some red beard die so I can test out my "mature" theory. More Will be Revealed.

But if he had cut that hair, put on a suit and tie, and drove a Chevy Impala LTZ, he'd have sold 200-240k year
