I'm divorced now but I'll never forget my then fiancee introducing me to her cousin, an undertaker, at a football game. Only tilting his head slightly toward me without looking away from the game and without smiling he said "My deepest sympathy."

A few years ago I did a mail drop in Lima, Ohio and worked a couple of days there. About 6 months after the drop I was driving through Lima and decided I would just spend a couple of extra hours door knocking some leads I never got in touch with.
I had their name and number but no lead card and was wearing a t shirt, gym shoes , and cargo shorts. I sold one that day. I don't recommend going out like that, but the truth is as long as you have confidence it really doesn't matter what you wear.
