Hello everybody.

My question is that many insurance companies do not insure rebuilt title. But. They allow you to add this car to your policy through the functionality of the site, aslo many insurance agent can do that too.

So, what can happen if I insure a rebuilt title as a clean title?

The question is theoretical.

Theoretically you could be involved in an accident and find out that you lied on the application/policy and have no liability coverage and then be on the hook for tens of thousands of dollars.

You wouldn't get past the front door. The insurance company will automatically run the VIN and see that the title is branded rebuilt. The policy will be flagged and cancelled.

Find yourself an insurance company that writes vehicles with rebuilt titles.

State Farm includes my 2003 Dakota PU that has a rebuilt title. I only have liability on it but I'm guessing they would add comp and collision if I thought the truck was worth enough to buy it (it isn't).
