Well my last one I needed help on and didn't know where to place went with AETNA. Have to thank Todd King on that one for answering the phone at 8:00 on a Friday night holiday weekend. $97 per month premium. Was paying on the old increasing UL for the last 18 years.

So now the daughter wants a policy. She's 43, 5' 3" tall and 235 pounds. She has normal blood pressure, takes no meds and sees the doctor for check-ups. She's a nurse at a good size child center (school/day care). Her health is fine cept she's just short and round shaped. Looking for around 20k or more.

I mentioned a paid up 20 or age 65 policy and they seemed to like that idea. Don't know if that's possible with her height/weight.

I have had good luck with Royal Neighbors Essential whole life. Call underwriting and get the okay on her exact build but they have been pretty
forgiving in the past as long as there are no other issues.

Settlers Silver/Gold (silver has no ht/wt youde have to check Golds), Assurity, Lafayette life is probably best choice. Just checked their ht/wt and for 5'3" she has to be under 236lbs ;).

RNA's EL would be a $25000 minimum. Available in 20 pay. The maximum weight for standard at that height is 159 lbs. So she would be rated. Probably a table 2.

Or you could go Settlers Silver. they a 20 pay and a 10 pay. Settlers will cost quite a more than EL even with the EL rated.

I have called RNA underwriting several times and they take much higher weight than their build chart shows as long as they don't have anything else wrong.

I would definitely call to check and if they do up her to the table 2 it may be a better deal.

They are more liberal than the listed ht/wt chart but not 70+ lbs liberal. Nor would I call them. I would wite it standard and let RNA's underwriters decide the rest. I would prepare the client for a small rating.

Does she have minor children? Or dependents?

No. Probably never will and never marry. Her and her mom live together. One of those types. No relatives. No family. Now that you bring that up, when I wrote the AETNA they asked if the contingent beneficiary on the mother could be some ministry group in case something happened to them both. Otherwise they agreed it would just go to the estate.

I'm also looking at an IUL for this girl vs the WL with Midland. The nice thing about Midland is she can convert to any type of policy whenever she wants. I just have to talk with Midland's underwriting on Tuesdy. Then I'll put forth my reccommendation.

Why do you ask Lee?

Just a thought, much like a dependent child, she has a larger Need for probably around 20 years or so. Then a permanent FE need.

Not sure if she will fit (:1frown:) but UNL's ROP would be worth a look. Larger face now with a RdPdUp later.

I am sure someone v will have the answer to this but what about Monumental 10 pay. Is it more than Settlers?
