You're right, with that paint job it threw me off. It looked like it said Ford on the front of the hood, but after looking again, it's just decoration.

My grandfather owned one of these when I was in college. He let me use it for my car, but it was plain old white. Not nearly as rockin' as the lime green purple flame beauty!

(I was a SoCal guy going to school in Indiana where my grandpa lived. I never could figure out why that Gremlin was such a chick magnet. Hoosier girls are strange.)
