I used to think that way, except the Toyota I bought was made in Kentucky and my Truck before that was a Chevy Silverado built in Mexico.
The number 1 produce car in GA is the KIA now. Ford moved the plant over seas to Brazel and Mexico.
My Nissan motor was made in Tenn.

My best car ever for sales was my Subaru Outback. I put over 250,000 miles om it chasing leads. I gave it to my son 4 years ago and he's still driving it.
I've got a 2007 Jeep Commander Overland now and it's a great car....except for the 14 mpg. But you got to have the Hemi.
I've also got a Mazda 3 hatchback which is OK.
I bought a 2011 Ford Edge this year but I only kept it a few months. Wife thought it was an old lady car.
And just for cheap fun I got an old Mazda Miata 6-speed recently. It's just like driving a go cart which is a blast. If gas gets any higher I may get me a mo-ped.
Worst car I ever had for sales was my Jaguar. People did comment about that one and it wasn't a good image.

I was at a car show yesterday, beautiful old cars, 57 Chevy, some of the cars were 30's 40's models, believe it or not, one of the cars that won an award was a "Volkswagon Thing" painted canary yellow, very pretty.

I sell 100% over the phone so it doesn't apply anymore to me (Good thing too, because I drive a big Dodge Caravan for the kiddos). But when I used to drive out for sales calls, I drove a Nissan Maxima. I carefully selected that because it was beautiful and classy looking, but didn't make people think I was making a fortune. Basically I wanted my image to be that I was doing well, but not too well. Is that stupid?
Worth every penny. Benefit of no wife + kids.

My car is a boring ole' '08 Lancer GTS.
This car is slower than monkey balls! I love the mpg and its actually quite roomy but it has to be the slowest car I've ever owned, hands down
Just headers/cam swap/intake/tune. Could have squeezed out more power with a bigger cam, but I wanted something that drove as close to stock as possible. Some people are over 500RWHP with a bigger cam. The LS3 can crank out some power...
