What does Medicare pay to MA plans

The food/utility cards need to go away. It's one thing to do an allowance for OTC items, but one carrier does a (small) food card in our area for people with certain health conditions. One of those conditions is high blood pressure, which is 90% of Louisiana if not more. I have a client living in a million dollar home getting $25/month for groceries because they have high blood pressure. MA companies should not be paid more than what the actuarial cost is to manage someone's health on OM. I do, however, like programs like Humana's DOAC for Eliquis and Xarelto. That makes sense to me because its actually treating a health condition. An allowance for pet supplies is not.
