Keyword tools are guides. I have a particular blog that get over 10 hits a day for particular three-word phrase (that converts nicely), that if you look up on any keyword tool shows zero searches a month. The last time I checked, 300 hits a month wasn't zero.

Maybe you should tell the keyword tool google has and my stat counter that. I get traffic from both terms. Albeit not as much as I will when I rank page one for sales genie, it's a great term to be ranking for.
