I echo Mark's comment on Critical Illness & DI. Critical illness is an EASY and OPTIMISTIC sale! Most people know that something is going to happen and that they'll recover. They'll recover much easier when they have a CHECK in their hands and less financial worry.
It's a much easier and more palatable discussion over just about anything else you could offer.
Plus, with Critical illness, there's no coordination of public benefits. The amount of the plan is the amount you get. Plain and simple.
