The most popular Aetna PPO plan in my area with the best benefits just went non commissionable.

Are we going to stand up to these sh*t a** companies or what? This is ridiculous.

First Chicago, then Georgia, now Florida.

too many enrollments, not enough funding.

The crazy part is, ceasing to pay commissions will not address the carriers funding issues, it'll barely scratch the surface.
Yep.

We need Trump back. Fix the funding issue. Axe the IRA that causes this issue in the first place.

I have not had 1 senior yet save money on Rx's yet because of that. In fact most pay more now and have less benefits and increased co-pays.

I've done several hundred AEP reviews so far. I can't think of one person paying more on their drugs next year. I may be forgetting a few but it's rare.

Too many people are freaking out. I hope the ones that are just leave the biz. I'll make more in 2024 than in 2023. And I'll make more in 2025 than in 2024. If your income is going down next year, it might be time to learn another trade

I might break even. Losing $20k on PDP commission is a tough pill to swallow. Add in the fact that two carriers just cut commission on popular plans here in Georgia and it's getting more challenging.

I'll likely pick up enough new clients to make up the loss in PDP commission, but I might not exceed 2024 income. Still some time to add more. Should I learn a new trade?

Couldn't hurt!
