A couple of mortgage brokers I know are now promoting themselves as "college funding specialists" which of course, they're not, but I guess they are if you think your home equity is a college fund, which it really isn't. But then hey, they bought into a "system" and are spending the money via Response Mail Express. Geez. Do you know of a mailhouse that charges MORE?????
 
Couple of things I do is:
A referral drawing, Realtor or Mortgage Prof. name goes into a big bowl in the office for every referral that leads to a quote, not necessarily a sale. At the end of month/quarter, however often you can afford to, draw a name for a $100 AMEX gift card. End of year draw two, one for $500, one for $250.
Co-host Broker open house with a Realtor on a property that isn't moving. Buy some wine and apps and through an evening party for other Realtors to see the property. Can help your pal get the property sold and lets you meet new referral sources.

I am a fairly new agent and I am also new to this forum and I realize this is an old thread but, I would really like to take a look at your marketing campaign for realtors and mortgage brokers.
