What's the most FE you have sold in a month?

For the past year and a half I have been working DM leads. I don't have anything set in stone for lead orders. Over the past two years I have spent around $7,000 per year on leads of my own money. I get lead credits through SNL for 50%. So backing into it I work $14,000 per year in leads. I would guess I average 2 to 2.5% return per thousand. So I would guess I average 10 leads per week? Strictly a guess.

I could use some help in setting up a more organized ordering system. When I get low I order more leads, but it takes three weeks or more for them to start coming in. So I end up spending too much time chasing old leads instead of working fresh leads which seem to have a much better return. Fresh is best!!!

Like this week as an example. I have been working the same tired, called to death leads for a month. I left Wed morning with 9 appointments. Got stood up 4 times, which is common when you have to work hard just to get an appt. I did write 6 for $500 a month in premium. Then after driving 2 hours to get home, I was taking a nap on my couch at 2:45pm today, Thursday.

I guess I will always be just an "ole bust out car man tryin to get by"!

2 to 2.5%? What does your lead card say? And how many apps do you write per 10 leads ?

My lead cards are E 64. I am told by my lead vendor I am averaging 2 to 2.5%. I am not a numbers guy and I do not keep track of how many leads I am getting. I work in the field 3 weeks per month, 2 days per week, Wed and Thursday. I usually write between 5 and ten apps per week when I work.

I think my problem is when I have fresh leads I do much better. I can schedule 9 to 12 appointments in two days and close 75%. But when the leads are 3 to 4 weeks old, I have to really work them to agree to a sit. That usually means I will be stood up more often, the face amounts are smaller and the leads are much more sickly. That is when I door knock, which is not nearly as consistent.

I am from the old school where we worked them till they bought or were dead. I can't seem to get that frame of mind out of my head. I need to learn how to regulate my leads better so I always have plenty of fresh leads to work. But that would also mean I would have to work more of a regular basis, which I do not like to do.
