Wheelchair and Med Supp

Is there any carrier that will accept someone confined in a wheelchair due to motorcycle accident 40 years ago. He can do ADL but legs are paralized. No other health issues, will any Med Supp company approve him?

UHC. Got a guy issued who had been in a bad work accident several years ago and became incapacitated but had no other health issues.

If he's confined to the wheelchair, I don't know of a company that underwrites that would take him...other than what Stephanie said about UHC.

I'm not sure how blue cross works in your state, but in NJ BCBS is guarantee issue, , meaning no medical questions on the app, guarantee acceptance. Not all blues work the same way.
