Where The Hell Is JD?

Thanks everyone! I'll have to admit July 2021 has been a tough one for this family. July 1 we lost our little dog that we had for 15 years. Just got his cremains back today.

Last week I lost my great horse Easy. Most of you know the story. My name is my initials, JD and Easy. When I first got on line it was to go to horse show sites. I signed up as jd&ez. Many sites won't let you use a symbol so it became jdeasy.

He was 31 years old. I had owned him for 24 years. I have shown horses all my life and had many great horses over the years. He was head and shoulders above them all.

We had to put my wife's horse down last year. So this is the first time in my life that I am not a horse owner.

Not all bad though. We went to San Francisco the week of July 4th. Us and another couple. Spent a day in wine country. A day at Muir Woods. Great trip. stayed at Fisherman's Wharf. We all run so we ran a couple days while there. Always a good way to see anew place is to run through the neighborhoods.

We walked up to Little Italy one evening for dinner. Great experience. We did the Alcatraz Tour and the Bay Cruise under Golden Gate.

A lot of highs and a lot of lows this month.

I've gotten many kind PM's. Thank you all for that.
Glad you're doing well. So sorry to hear about the loss of your little dog and Easy. I've never owned a horse, but I've outlived a few dogs. It's always hard to say goodbye to a beloved companion.

Sorry about Easy and your little dog.

I lost my dog about 15 months ago man that hurt. On the lighter side one of the cemeteries I used to oversee for sales in AZ was a pet cemetery. We had cheep lots for the birds, people could park their car in our barking lot. When giving a tour I would let them paws for a while and rest on a bench. For catholic families that lost a pet we would recommend a space in the back near the St Bernard. This cemetery owned by the big funeral chain had all bronze memorial requirements when I was there. People would spend big bucks for Fido and then direct cremation for their mom.

Good to see you JD, sorry for your loss. Yep pets jerk our hearts out. I've had to put 3 dogs down in the last 2yrs. I'm convinced that dogs (pets) are better than people, as a whole.

Dogs personify unconditional love.

Funny joke - You wanna see who loves you more? Lock your dog and wife in the trunk of the car for an hour and see which one is happy to see you when you open the trunk.

If you post, he will come. Who is next to summon back ? I am surprised I had this at a low chance of working but I was still checking. Love doing the San Francisco fisherman"s wharf thing, alcatraz and bay tours. Even though I am close I still do them.

When we lived in San Ramon we would often take Bart in and just spend the day. I have not been in a few years I hear it is a bit dirtier and a lot of car break-ins.
