Which FE Carriers Are Not Allowing FE Tele-Sales?

How are you adjusting to SL's new policy where the applicant has to have first draft within 7 days of app due to Corona?

Not been a problem so far. To untrained agents it would start to become a pain after the 18th or so.

Here's a mini lesson:

Never ask Ms. Jones when she'd like to start her plan because 98% of the time she'll say the first of next month, even if today is the 4th and she got her check yesterday. Instead say "Ms. Betty they'll send this to your bank tomorrow night that's what everyone else is doing". She'll usually fall in line with this because she hears that's what everybody else is doing.

On the other hand if today is the 22nd of April I'll still say "Ms. Betty they'll send this to your bank tomorrow night that's what everyone else is doing". If Ms. Betty says " I don't have the money, I'll need to wait till the 3rd, then here's what you want to say:

That's fine Ms. Betty we can do that for you. I'll look down on my ipad as if I'm going to the next step. But I'll look back up at her with a smile and say "Ms. Betty would you like for me to show you how you can get almost 2 weeks for free? (they always say "yes").

Here's what I say: "Ms. Betty it doesn't always work out this way but it does in this situation, and that's good for you. One of the great things about these state regulated plans is they never bill you twice in a 30 day period. So if they can send this to your bank tomorrow night, or certainly within the next few days, payment #2 won't be due May 3rd,....payment #2 won't be due till June 3rd....about 6 weeks later.

That way you're getting almost 2 weeks for free! And we're getting your policy started a little bit quicker in case something unexpected happens. Sounds good doesn't it?

You'd be surprised that at least 50% of the time they'll go ahead and start their policy now instead of waiting till the 3rd to start it. Helps an agent get paid quicker.

So why would you care if I recruit or not? Seems you should be focused on your business. Or is your business falling apart with this virus? You'll be gone in 3 months.

So what's wrong with me offering a life line to an agent who all of a sudden finds out he/she can't feed their family because of this virus? I encourage all agents to call me for a confidential interview. I'm in a great place and want to share it with others. Then these "others" can decide if it's something they wish to pursue. I encourage agents to try this out for 30 days and form their own opinion.

Titeye all you do is spout negativity up here. When are you going to share some real wisdom up here? Agents like you come up here for a few months and pound their chest then they disappear......forever.

Interesting thought. How would I even be able to contact that particular carrier's agents? Probably too much work involved.

I'm not saying there was anything wrong with it, I'm just saying that it was obvious that was what you were doing. :yes:

Your response makes no sense. I'm asking this info so I can recruit those agents that are NOT on this forum. Those agents on this forum already know we have a great telesales platform as well as other successful telesales platforms.

But the agents that are with those carriers that don't offer telesales, but not on this forum, may not know about our (or others') telesales platforms. Those agents would probably appreciate finding out about successful telesales programs. Wouldn't you agree?

I could just call the list of FE carriers and ask if telesales is/will be available. I thought it would be a good thing to bring this discussion to the forum and get feedback from others

.It seems that whenever someone up here is trying to get something positive going on there are about 4 or 5 others that start pounding their chests, spouting negativity and trying to look important. And they never add any suggestions or knowledge up here. It's rather humorous to me. Little duds trying to be big studs...lol.

I forgot to also mention that with telesales we don't usually use DM leads. DM is better for face 2 face because people forget they mailed the card. You can show them their handwriting at the front door but not over the phone.

With telesales we are using a lot of TV leads (live transfers and outbound), facebook, and "request a quote" leads. The income for these type of leads is higher than DM. This means we don't have to postdate business for the 3rd of next month. And persistency is better with this clientel.

We start the initial draft immediately and get paid immediately. We don't have to wait till the 3rd of next month to get paid. And so far we don't have any covid-19 questions being added to the health questions. So as you can see there is no adjustment needed. Thankfully we can keep humming along with our FE business.

I made it clear to you a few days ago that I stopped addressing you directly after I came across a racist comment you posted. However, this one last time I will entertain you directly.

1. I have been in this life insurance sales business going on 30 years. The final expense market is only a subset of the life insurance industry. In fact, FE is just a subset of the Whole Life market. So, what do those few facts suggests about my overall experience versus yours? Have you been in the business 30-yrs? Do you know anything other than WL for the purpose of FE?

2. I have been multi-state licensed for over 15-yrs out of the 30. Currently licensed in 15 states. What does that suggests to you about my telesales skill set and experience? Or, do you think I have commuted cross-country all those years just to conduct F2F appointments?

3. I have survived the last 30-yrs in this industry. I am certain I can figure out how to survive the next 3 months. By the way, you are contradicting yourself again. You told me last week, I would not survive in this industry. Two-minutes later you said, "why would I want you to fail?" Today its, "you'll be gone in 3 months." Make up your mind. Do you want me to fail or don't you?

4. A member's Post/Likes Ratio could be useful in analyzing their contribution to the forum. Your P/L ratio is 11.07%. My P/L ratio is 91.07%. Considering we have the same peers, what does that suggest to you about who's "sharing real wisdom up here?"

I believe I had over 2500 posts when they added the "likes received" button. If this button was in effect when I made my first post then the % would be much different. Simple math.

As far as your longevity in the industry good for you. That shows resilience. But I've also met agents with 20 and 30 years experience in this industry who are still broke. I've also met agents that have been in the business for a shorter period of time than myself and they make more $$$ than me. So length of time in the business doesn't necessarily equate to financial success.

Still looking forward to the day you start sharing closing techniques, etc. instead of sounding so hateful. After all you say you have 30 years experience? You imply you have telesales experience with being licensed in several states. Could you share some of your knowledge with us...lol.

I challenge you to show me where I made a racist comment up here. You make the accusation....and I issue you the challenge to show it.

I'm trying to recruit agents appointed with carriers that are not allowing telesales and that are also not on the forum. To do this I need to know the name of the carriers first. That's why I posted "Which FE carriers are not allowing tele-sales"?

Once I have the names of the carriers I will use other recruiting methods to contact their agents about telesales. I would not use this forum as I've already shared the telesales opportunity up here. Make sense?
