The only FE company I know of that uses nearest age is UHL. It is debatable if they are in the FE business at all.
Every other company uses last age. I have never even heard of a company using nearest age in the FE business besides UHL.
Not a bad idea. We'll just mail in your photo and the underwriters can guess what age they will give you. Might be fun.
I had a lady last week who wanted me to guess her age. I know better than that so I said 30. She was 72. I told her that surprised me because she easily could pass for 60 (true.)
When I quoted the rate for 72 she asked me if any companies priced it by the age you could pass as?

Yep I meet a client last week 55 she could have passed for 70 easilyNot sure you would want to deliver some of those policies.. Can you imagine going back to the house of a rough looking 50 year old lady and telling her, "They thought you looked 65"?![]()
