Which pre licensing test is best for the Health/Medicare license?

Which do you recommend?

I'm using AD Banker at the moment.

They give you a great 200-ish page PDF for national Life/Health and a 66-page PDF for Oregon. The online learning is mostly just taking that info and putting it in a different format, and every 4-5 slides there's a woman who reads to you what you just read. She's professional but...well, she's reading bullet points.

You do have to go through every slide in order to take the chapter tests at the end, and you have to pass all the chapter tests at 80% before you can try the comprehensive. You can skip the woman reading.

One thing I do find disappointing is that they don't do a good job of breaking down what you need to know vs. what's in the book just as reference info. I've been studying for tests all my life so I can kind of see what's likely to be on a test and what's not. For example:
  • Some kind of rule about 31 days or 15-days or a 60% limit - test writers love those
  • Long laundry lists of examples of why you would be denied a claim or how to do needs analysis - you just need to read it a few times and have the general idea
  • Big tables of data - impossible to memorize so won't be on test
I just wish they had more "hey, this part here is really important" tips but I suppose there are regulations, etc. They don't give you any "inside baseball" info.

A while back I used America's Professor which I thought was superior in every way. Excellent teacher, really illustrated things with funny anecdotes and scenarios, organized the material well, etc. Unfortunately, they don't do state prep for Oregon.

Happy to help by answering any other questions.
