I did call mutual and my IMO You all {including G gordon} were right. Not only is Mutual involved they are the actual Admistrator..not just 3rd party administrator.. Unbelievable but now I can make more comm.

If you check your Mutual of Omaha/United of Omaha apps online to see the status, your Gerber Medicare supplements also show up on the Mutual of Omaha agent website

Admin. please deleate this. Wife must never see this, men never admit they are wrong.

I would know if Gerber is serviced by MOO or not. Really doesn't matter to me. But I thought I would throw this in. I Called the help line for Gerber and the Girl answered Mutual of Omaha may I, then caught and corrected herself.

As with WOW/Assured, your writing number is your MOO writing number.

in Michigan other than Omaha?
What do you mean by the best rate? Do you mean the current rate? Do you want a rate with no claims experience? Gerber is the new baby with no claims. Perhaps you could put your unsuspecting customers with them and HOPE the rate 5-10 years from now (when they really need) it is good. By the time Gerber is around 10-15 years, the customer might have to eat Gerber baby food to afford the premium.
Gerber is just another Mutual of Omaha shell game.

I agree Mutual plays the shell game (especially with MOO, UW and UOO), but that's the game we have to play. If there were a carrier that was consistently in the top tier and kept rate increases to a minimum, that would be something many of us could show and explain to the client. However, that's just not the case in all states.

Instead of speaking in code, why don't you share with us idiots which carrier it is that you use and their rate history (don't forget the state).
